Is it just me or is Captain Jack FUCKING COOL? He's made me completely obsessed with the idea of hair wraps and beads.... or if you're lazy, just wrapping a peice of string round you're hair. Right, I need to book the next flight to Greece, it's the only place I know where you can get hair wraps done. I remember begging my mum for one when I was about eight!
My outfit last night. I felt like dressing like a scruff but with heels, that's always been one of my favourite looks. The tweed jacket is my mum's from the 70s, Levi cut-off's, t-shirt from charity shop, bag charity shop, shoes Topshop.
Oh my god I actually NEED to go to India, if only to pick up some goods. Desperately want an Indian bag (along with an array of Indian rings, bracelets, bhindi's....you name it). Found these delights on a random fair trade website (http://www.one-world-is-enough.net/) and think I may have to purchase the one on the left.... £16 - you can't really go wrong.
Nothing like a bit of raving in the garden at lunchtime, glass of wine, 60s music blaring out of the kitchen. Who needs uni work when the weather's this good? PERFECT DAY!
At last, the student loan arrived and I treated myself to a pair of Topshop Chanel rip-off clogs. They are surprisingly comfortable, I'm approximately 6 foot 7 in them and they make any outfit look about 50 times better. Absolutely loving the cat and floral printed Miu Miu clogs in the top picture, they are INSANE!
This quote pretty much sums up how I feel at the moment. I especially like the 'getting dirty' and 'making mistakes' part - make's me feel better about a lot of things! Oh, and I've added a few photo's of Wasson for good measure. Nothing like a few fit chicks to brighten up a blog post.

What better way to make use of ruined sheer tights? Cut 'em short! I started doing this last summer but eventually gave up as I was recieving a lot of dodgy looks from passers by. Now I have decided to embrace the cycling short, especially the polka dot kind. I kinda like them a bit ripped too.
I cannot wait to spend my summer in Brighton this year, it really is the most magical place in summertime, it's like being on holiday. It's just one big bike-riding, cidering, beaching induced party. Also the people there are AMAZING. Here are some photo's from a bit of my summer last year there, how mystical does my garden look! I just received the dodgiest reaction from my parents as I walked into the kitchen wearing this, I think they're confused as they relate long dresses to dressing up for the BAFTA's, but ah well. Whilst entering New Look on a whim, completely not expecting to find anything there, I stumbled across this beauty. Animal print + racer back + floor length dress = PERFECT.
